Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce may reign on the football field, but the three-time Super Bowl champ isn't exactly a literature expert, and that's okay.
As his music superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift mentions in her song "So High School," he knows how to ball, and she knows Aristotle.
Or in this case, Lewis Carroll.
Kelce, who was just in London and made a surprise on-stage cameo with Swift on night three of her engagement performing The Eras Tourat Wembley Stadium, shared a hilarious misunderstanding about the title of author Lewis Carroll's whimsical children's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
Written in 1865, the title became colloquially known as Alice in Wonderland, made even more popular after Walt Disney Productions released the animated movie adaptation in 1951, which fans are familiar with today.
Due to the title abbreviation, some people who've never read the book or seen the title in written form assumed the protagonist who follows the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole and spills tea with the Mad Hatter was named Allison instead of Alice.
Kelce admitted his literary fumble on a recent episode of the New Heights podcast that he co-hosts with his retired NFL baller and older brother, Jason.
Kelce revealed:
"I also found out over the summer that it's Alice IN Wonderland, not Allison Wonderland."

Kelce continued:
"I thought 'Allison Wonderland' was the name.'"
To which his brother asked:
"Did you ever...we've watched the movie, though. You know her name wasn't Allison."
Kelce responded by saying, "I know. I thought it was," which prompted laughter from Jason.
It turned out he wasn't the only one who assumed the story was called Allison Wonderland.
Fans found his innocent naivete even more charming and hysterical.
It wasn't lost on Swifties that the "Tortured Poets Department" singer's middle name is Alison.
She also has a song called "Wonderland" that alludes to the book and was one of the bonus tracks on the 2014 deluxe version of the 1989 album that was re-recorded and released last October as 1989 (Taylor's Version).
Perhaps the hilarious misnomer was the invisible string that tied the singer to Kelce all along.
