Nanny and TikToker Sophia Pagliuca shared a viral compilation of some of the rudest and most absurd messages she's received from parents—and viewers have thoughts.

There are some jobs in the world that a large majority of the population just refuses to see the monetary worth of, and insists they are entitled to those services, no matter what they're able to pay.

Babysitting and nanny services are definitely on that list.

On her TikTok profile where she offers nannying tips and her experiences in the past seven years as a nanny, Sophia Pagliuca (@lifeofsophiag) recently shared a series of screenshots, citing the "Worst Nanny Texts" she has ever received.

As bad as we might expect the texts must be in order to be considered "the worst" in seven years, these are still pretty shocking.

There are always going to be some parents who try to negotiate rates down, no matter how important the service they're trying to acquire actually is.

But in some of these situations, the parents tried to negotiate astronomically low rates based on "previous nannies" they'd had, which, let's be honest, may or may not have been figments of their imagination.

There are parents, too, who don't understand the importance of consistent work.

Let's also not forget the parents who try to guilt nannies into providing them services, since they are actually "parents" and since nannies couldn't possibly understand how "hard it is" to be a working parent.

But on the flip side of the coin, heck, how hard could parenting a sleeping child be? They'll never wake up from a nightmare, have a potty accident in the bed, or ever possibly be the subject of an emergency, right?

Fellow TikTokers, some being nannies and others past customers, were appalled by the audacity of these potential customers.

Nanny services might be nice to have, but they're also a tremendous luxury that some people simply cannot afford. But the truth of the matter is, a nanny is caring for some of the most beloved and precious "things" a person might have in their life, and like it or not, that carries with it tremendous monetary value.
