When it comes to romance, Rocio Andujo's mom has set a golden standard.

The 21-year-old shared an anecdote that symbolized the passion between her mom, Rosalia, and her dad, Robert, and is inspiring others to adopt a special ritual.

The college student beamed about her romantic parents and told Buzzfeed News:

"[Of] all of the marriages I've seen my parents are one of my favorites & not [because] they're my parents but because I see how much respect they have for each [other]."

One day, Rocio made a beautiful discovery.

Her mother Rosalia had preserved flowers given by her husband when the pair were still dating.

"No one knew my mom had kept those flowers. She also still has the first bouquet of roses he gave her."

Rocio's father Robert was delighted to make the discovery at the same time. He had no idea about the flowers, and Rocio confirmed her dad was "so shocked and happy."

The proud daughter followed the romantic thread with pictures that captured various stages of her parents' together as a couple over a span of 27-years.

Rocio said that her mother played hard-to-get when she was younger, before giving in to Robert's dedicated charm.

"My mom always knew my dad was a ladies' man & wouldn't really take any girl serious so she always rejected him," Rocio told Buzzfeed, adding, "because she didn't want to be just another girl on his list (her words)."

"After a year & months of my dad chasing after my mom & trying to get a chance with her she finally gave him a chance since she saw that he kept insisting and insisting even after she would reject him."

Eventually, Robert won Rosalia's heart, and her love consequently made him a better man.

"Well all that rejecting made my dad fall over heels... people would always ask my mom what she did to my dad because he changed so much with my mom in a good way."

For someone previously known as a reputable "ladies' man," people couldn't help but notice how much Robert was enamored with Rosalia.

"Everyone could see how in love my dad was with my mom and everyone would get surprised because they had never seen my dad so in love with a girl before."

The discovery of the preserved flowers just made everything sweeter.

Inspired by Rosalia's floral symbol of her love, Rocio's Twitter followers began sharing their variations on the tradition.

Some regretted not knowing how to properly dry their flowers.

But fear not, the good people of Twitter offered their sage expertise.

Others are noticing how Rocio's parents have not let their looks go.

Rocio's post is giving disenchanted people hope that enduring love can still exist.

"I hope everyone gets to see more about my post so they can bring back all those romantic gestures & pure love that doesn't really exist anymore."

Nothing could be sweeter.

AOC Has Democrats Applauding With Her Viral Reaction To Zohran Mamdani's Historic Win

New York Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had people nodding their heads after she opened up about why democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani's win in the New York City mayoral election on Tuesday is so important for the country at large as well as for the future of the Democratic Party.

Mamdani successfully took on the establishment to become the first South Asian, first Muslim, and first millennial mayor-elect, running a campaign that focused predominantly on the city's affordability crisis and that successfully batted away racist and Islamophobic backlash from right-wingers who claimed his policies would "destroy" the city.

People Who Quit Their Jobs On Day One Reveal What Made Them Say 'Nope, Not Doing This'

Every now and then, simply because we need money, we might take a job that doesn't fulfill us in any way, but at least keeps our bank accounts happy.

Some jobs, however, are so soul-sucking that even with no other prospects immediately on the horizon, we can't, in good conscience, keep working them.
