A woman on TikTok had viewers floored after revealing she worked a full eight-hour shift at Target without getting paid...because she's not an actual employee of the retail chain.

TikToker @ugh_madison, who has made similar videos in the past documenting her pro bono assistance at various establishments, showed how she "worked at a random Target for free" assisting guests, restocking shelves and even cleaning restrooms.

The creator began her video:

"Got there on time ready to work for free."
"I made sure to go above and beyond for my customers."

The TikTok also shows @ugh_madison assisting guests looking for items, scrubbing the bathroom stalls, organizing clothes and emptying trash cans.

She noted that security and other staff members walked "right past" her, but she must have "blended right in" because no one noticed she wasn't an actual employee at the store.

The TikToker also shared that she gave several shoppers gift cards for their purchases and also paid for items at checkout.

She finished the video:

"I think I saved Target's company today. So my work day is over."
"I spent eight hours working at Target for free, and it was the happiest day of my life."

While a view count of over 3 million speaks for itself, a few in the comments voiced their concern over the TikToker's good deed possibly interfering with the store's regular operations and procedures.

But they were assured that she was told it was "okay" to help.

Several even got a chuckle out of the TikToker calling Target shoppers "customers" instead of the company's preferred term "guests."

All in all, though, viewers were not only entertained but also highly impressed by the TikToker's eight hours of free service— especially taking on bathroom duty—during such a busy time of year.
