We are all aware that we are carrying mini-GPS enabled devices in our pockets most of the time, and people can latch onto our location. But--we don't really know how exactly they'd go about doing this, necessarily.
But TikToker @kimbreezeh found out the hard way that sometimes that very, very much happens, and was terrified to know that she was being tracked through something called "AirTag" for over six hours.
@kimbreezeh This is definitely the scariest thing thats happened to me 🥴 #fypシ #fyp #stalker #airtag #airtagsapple #staysafeeveryone #ThatCloseMessenger
An AirTag is a tracking device created by Apple for use on objects that someone might misplace often, like keys, for that person to be able to find them digitally.
But this more, sinister use had @kimbreezeh understandably freaked out. And she was determined to find the tracker, but to no avail.

She also tried to go to the police to file a report that someone was following her, only to be also turned away from the police because technically, no law exists to prevent someone following another person with an AirTag.
"I'm [supposed] to call them when someone shows up. That's when they can help me."

Thankfully, the morning after she received the notification, @kimbreezeh was no longer being tracked. Unfortunately, though, she never did receive the AirTag or find its hidden location.
Though, according to her, it was not for lack of trying, as she took her car to a tire shop to have it checked for the device.

So, in return for "letting the whole world know," @kimbreezeh appears to have, thankfully, stayed safe for the time being.
