Audience members preserving the action at sporting events is nothing out of the ordinary.
After all, an exciting play is worth revisiting and sharing with others online to prove you were there in person to experience it.
But why is one woman who whipped out her smartphone to capture a moment at the US Open going viral?
It turns out she was either filming or taking snapshots of a hunky pro tennis player who was off the court and changing into a fresh shirt, right in front of her.
The match might have been paused, but as far as she was concerned, the male athlete was still serving love.

In the clip, the pro tennis player who was wearing a white headband and a sweaty white crew neck was seen in the foreground.
Behind him in the courtside seats were two women, one of whom casually took in the atmosphere until she did a double-take after noticing him taking off his shirt.
She quickly seized an opportunity to capture the quick change by reaching into the bag on her lap to pull out her phone for a thirst trap photo or video.
Many Twitter users related to the woman who was making her own instant replay clip.

Some users asked if the reactions would have been the same if the genders were swapped with the tennis player being a woman.

While the sexism questions are points to ponder, the online debate surrounding an existing "double standard" regarding photos of shirtless players hasn't happened.
Female tennis players are not allowed to take off their shirts on the court–even with a sports bra on–while their male counterparts are able to do so.
