Dating is already difficult, especially in the age of apps where you just don't get to meet people in real life all the time before ending up on a date with them.

But when the people in your dating pool are immature and destructive, such as TikToker @notsimpqueen7 's Hinge date, it can have further reaching consequences.

After about 15 minutes, @notsimpqueen7 decided to kick out the man she invited over because of reported bad vibes.

But her date wasn't leaving without making a scene.

"He asked to use the bathroom before leaving and USED MY LIPSTICK TO WRITE ALL OVER THE SEAT.”

Some folks commented how this absolute genius of a plan revealed the man's lack of knowledge of how anybody lives their lives.

He did it on the underside of the toilet seat, assuming a woman would not need to lift it up to see it.

On the other side, some hurt men from the other side of TikTok attempted to flame the comments section of the video, trying to point out how the woman must have been in the wrong.

In a follow-up video, the original poster (or OP) specified that she lied and said she was hung up on an ex to get the man to leave her apartment.

He wrote the warning "She is effing her ex, run" and his phone number on the seat.

And no, "effing" is not a censorship of what he wrote, this man wrote the word "effing" out.

If your first date is ending in anybody writing in lipstick on a toilet seat, the lipsticker is not automatically the hero of the story, guys.

Man Goes Viral After 3D-Printing A 6-Pound Phone Case To Combat Screen Addiction

Many Millennials will remember back in the nineties as the last of the "latchkey kids" who were prominently babysat by their televisions, and the commercials that rolled out, made popular on Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, promoting kids to go play outside instead of watching TV all day.

Now in 2025, videos on Instagram and TikTok encouraging people to "pause their scroll" and to "put down their phones" are becoming more common and popular, because people are realizing how detrimental our increasing screen time is to our emotional, physical, and psychological health.

There's an old saying that goes, "It costs nothing to be kind."

Smiling at a stranger, saying hi back to a young and socialable child, holding a door for someone, and maybe even exchanging a pleasantry or two at the checkout line costs nothing more than a few words passing our lips and showing a little kindness.
