'Wheel Of Fortune' Contestant Throws His Whole Family Under The Bus With Iconic Introduction

'Wheel Of Fortune' Contestant Throws His Whole Family Under The Bus With Iconic Introduction

Pat, I'd like to solve the puzzle.

"The best introduction ever."

Monday's episode of Wheel of Fortunehad something new to bring to the table. When Pat Sajak introduced contestant Blair Davis, most were expecting some line about his lovely wife and great kids.

What we got was, well, definitely not that.

Blair Jokes About His Family (and Beard) | Wheel of Fortunewww.youtube.com

Blair Davis was asked about his life by Sajak, as is custom on the show. Davis revealed he is the owner of a small trucking company in San Diego, and that he's been in a loveless marriage for 12 years.

...That last bit doesn't sound right. Let me check on that.

Davis said exactly:

"I have been trapped in a loveless marriage for the last twelve years to an old battle-ax named Kim. She cursed my life with three stepchildren... and I have one rotten grandson."

I mean, there's honesty, and then there's honesty on a television show watched by millions.

Now before I go any further, I feel it's important to tell you Blair was obviously joking.

While many commenters online didn't catch on, Blair's knowing smile before he's asked the question, and Pat Sajak's cheer should have been clues.

Oh, there's also this exchange between Sajak and Blair literally seconds later.

"I know you're being facetious."
"Absolutely! I love them like nobody's business!"

Please remember to watch full videos and read the whole articles before commenting on something.

What Blair was doing, for any non-Wheel of Fortune fans out there, is making fun of this normal exchange. When asked about their families, most contestants give what feel like stock answers.

Sure, it's nice to hear about someone's "lovely wife" and their "great kids" but after hearing those exact words hundreds of times for weeks on end from different people, it begins to feel disingenuous.

Which is why we stan Blair and his battle-ax of a wife, Kim.

The jokes didn't end there, however.

Blair was then asked by Sajak about his long, ZZ Top beard.

He apparently keeps it because of his "rotten" grandson.

"I started growin' the beard a couple of years back and every time I threaten to shave it off, he gives me a really hard time."

Sajak gave a zinger right back saying:

"Don't let it get tangled up in the wheel, that's all we ask."

Everything about Blair's introduction made for an entertaining episode.

Blair did not end up winning the game this week, which was devastating for his newfound fans. A few even called for him to be given another chance.

However, I think we're all pretty happy someone had the courage to go on stage and make a mockery of the introductions, because really, it can get old.

Louisiana Republican Senator Bill Cassidy was widely mocked following his inconvenient slip of the tongue during a CNBC interview as he mused about finding ways to "cut" Medicare before quickly correcting himself.

GOP Senator Gets Blunt Reality Check After Comparing Trump Tariff 'Pain' To Home Renovation

Montana Republican Senator Tim Sheehy was criticized after he tried to compare the "short-term pain" of President Donald Trump's tariffs to home renovation, a claim so ridiculous that CNN's Kaitlan Collins quickly pushed back on the analogy.

Trump has repeatedly referred to April 2 as “Liberation Day,” pledging to impose tariffs—taxes on imports—to reduce U.S. reliance on foreign goods. He has framed these tariffs as “reciprocal,” aiming to match the duties other nations place on American exports.

Liberal Wisconsin Judge Calls Out Elon Musk In Victory Speech—And It's Everything

Liberal judge Susan Crawford called out billionaire Elon Musk in her victory speech after winning a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, basking in successfully beating her Republican opponent Brad Schimel and ensuring that the nonpartisan court’s narrow 4-3 liberal majority remains intact despite Musk's efforts to sway the race.

Musk fueled the high-stakes race, having poured more than $20 million into supporting Schimel, according to state campaign records. That includes $3 million to the state Republican Party—$2 million of which was donated just last week. Due to state election laws, large contributions must be funneled through political parties before reaching candidates.
