Surreal Clip Shows Ukrainian Man Shaving In Front Of Unexploded Missile That Crashed Through His Roof

A video of a Ukrainian man casually shaving in his home while standing next to what was initially believed to be an unexploded Russian rocket has left the internet completely dumbfounded.

The video originally appeared on the Damnthatsinteresting subReddit with the accompanying caption that read:

“A piece of a Russian ork rocket flew into the home of a Ukrainian.”

In the bizarrely shocking footage, the unnamed man is shaving in front of the mirror in the kitchen and is completely unfazed by the obtrusive piece of military equipment that seemed to have crashed through the ceiling.

Later, he is seen laughing at his predicament and points to the hole in the ceiling from where the rocket is dangling.

The clip showed the startling reality of how life on goes even after Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

People couldn't help but make light of the ominous clip.

One Redditor imagined a dialogue focusing more on something else in the video they thought was peculiar.

“What is that doing in your kitchen?”
“The Russians fired it through my apartment.”
“No not that. The sink. Why is there a bathroom sink in your kitchen?”

Redditor Wernerlohemann suggested the object in the kitchen was a booster and not an unexploded rocket as many initially assumed.

"Only tail piece of the missile that is ejected during flight. The warhead itself flies on and explodes somewhere else."

The Original Poster confirmed, "this is the upper stage of the Uragan rocket."

They also reiterated the man in the video was not under any harm.

"There are thousands of such cases in Ukraine," wrote the OP, before reassuring, "These are the upper stages of Uragan multiple launch rocket systems, this part of the rocket does not explode."

Still, the heads-up with the clarification of the equipmemnt didn't deter users from being overly cautious.

"Even if it was I wouldn't want to disturb it lmao," one user wrote, adding, "Then again I would probably look for alternative living space options if available over there."

One person quipped:

"Nice new piece of furniture. Could be upcycled to make a nice lamp."

Another joked:

"Bruh i won’t go into my room if there’s a spider this man is shaving with a rocket."

Even though the clip showed the man chuckling over his ridiculous situation, the clip was a reminder of the atrocities of the ongoing Russia Ukraine conflict.

On Monday, a Russian missile hit a crowded shopping mall located in the central Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk.

The mall was believed to be filled with approximately 1,000 shoppers, and the missile strike reportedly killed at least 10 people and wounded 40 others, according to the regional governor.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of sabotaging "people's attempts to live a normal life, which make the occupiers so angry."

He added the target presented "no threat to the Russian army" and had "no strategic value."
