Fearless Ukrainian Man Removes Land Mine From Road With His Bare Hands In Surreal Video

Fearless Ukrainian Man Removes Land Mine From Road With His Bare Hands In Surreal Video

As Russia's violent invasion of Ukraine continues, examples of civilians showing great bravery surface.

The latest example is an unverified video of a Ukrainian man carrying what looks to be a landmine from the road and into the forest—all while smoking a cigarette.

As reported by Indy100, the device is thought to be an anti-tank mine.

The civilian apparently moved it away from the road so the Ukrainian army could get by safely.

Dressed casually in jeans and a light jacket, lit cigarette dangling from this mouth, he holds the mine barehanded and at arms length, presumably to place the explosive somewhere it won't hurt anyone.

Since the start of Russia's aggression, Ukrainians have shown bravery and resilience. People around the world are supporting their willingness to fight to save their country.

Twitter users praised the man's bravery.

Watching the war unfold has been sobering.

Many admitted feeling ashamed for taking their safety and freedom for granted.

Whether this video is real or not, please be aware picking up a live mine or any explisive device is very dangerous.

In other words, don't try this at home.

The video has yet to be verified, but there is no denying the Ukrainian people are facing a danger most of us are lucky to have never experienced.
