Tyra Banks Sat Between Two Furries At A Recent Basketball Game—And She Wasn't Having It

Fans weren't sure what to think after two handsy furries sat on either side of Banks during a recent NBA game between the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets for a solid 30 minutes before being escorted out by security.

Supermodel and TV host Tyra Banks had two most unlikely seatmates at a recent NBA game between the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets:two furries.

Furries, of course, are people who dress up in animal-like costumes for fun, or sometimes for, um... let's say adult fun.

Either way, it's an odd sight to see at a basketball game, especially at the Barclays Center's courtside seats, often referred to as "celebrity row" at the Knicks' home stadium Madison Square Garden.

And Banks definitely didn't seem like she was feeling it.

At first blush, the situation seems merely odd, but not actually unsavory. What's the big deal about people dressed in animal suits at a basketball game, right? It's weird but not hurting anyone.

Except that these particular furries... well, they quickly revealed themselves to be the "adult fun" kind of furries when they leaned over Banks several times to get handsy with each other for the jumbotron.

It seems almost certain that the spectacle was some kind of stunt. To what end, nobody seems to know. Banks appeared to be friendly with the furries earlier in the night in a video posted by comedian Kareem Rahma.

But the more the furries kept getting handsy, the more annoyed Banks appeared to become. Rahma's video appeared to show Banks asking security to remove the two furries, and them being escorted out soon after.

Naturally, the internet had plenty to say about Banks' encounter with the sports-loving furries.

And a lot of people were convinced the encounter was some kind of stunt or viral marketing ploy.

There definitely seems to be something fishy about this, but hey—who says furries can't be basketball fans too?

American YouTuber Arrested After Sneaking Onto Remote Island And Leaving Diet Coke For Uncontacted Tribe

24-year-old YouTuber Mykhailo Viktorovych Polyakov was arrested after making contact with one of the world's last uncontacted tribes, making the perilous and ill-advised journey to North Sentinel Island and leaving a coconut and a can of Diet Coke on the beach as a gift to the Sentinelese.

Polyakov, 24, arrived at the northeastern shore of North Sentinel Island at 10 a.m. on March 29, according to police reports. He used binoculars to survey the land but saw no one.
