It is no secret former President Donald Trump had extramarital affairs. Also well known is his history of misogynistic and sexist remarks about women.

This apparently extended to the nicknames he gave to those he had affairs with as well.

In an upcoming book, former 60 Minutes producer Ira Rosen stated then President Trump revealed a secret nickname for one of the women he had a romantic relationship with, Karen McDougal, to Dylan Howard—an editor for The National Enquirer.

Karen McDougal was a Playboy Playmate. She disclosed an alleged "consensual romantic relationship" with Trump took place in 2006 when he was already married to Melania.

Melania Trump gave birth to her son with the former President in 2006—the same year her husband was engaged in his affair with McDougal.

According to Rosen's book:

"Trump had invited Howard and National Enquirer publisher David Pecker for dinner [at the White House] on July 12, 2017."
"Howard told me that while touring the executive residence of the White House, when he was just outside the Lincoln Bedroom, the President said to him, 'Editor man, I'm glad I've been good for business'."

The book's anecdote continued:

"He then asked if the former Playboy model Karen McDougal still loved him. 'Of course she does,' Howard said."
"Trump seemed pleased. Trump then told Howard the secret nickname he had for her, 'the Hoover Dam,' Trump said, 'because she was always so wet'."

First, dams don't make things wet, they actually make things dry.

Second, it is yet another example of the former President's demeaning statements about women. Extramarital affair or not, Karen McDougal is still a person worthy of being treated with respect.

McDougal's name frequently comes up when people criticize Trump.

The National Enquirer bought McDougal's story for $150,000 in a previously reported on catch-and-kill scheme to keep it out of the press during the 2016 election. This is the same case Stormy Daniels was wrapped up in, which sent Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to jail.

McDougal spoke to CNN about the affair.

People were disgusted by Trump's nickname for a woman he allegedly spent time being intimate with.

Trump has yet to comment on the information in Rosen's book.

Trump's Truth Social Platform Has A New AI Tool—And Trump's Not Gonna Like What It Has To Say

President Donald Trump regularly uses his social media platform Truth Social to attack his opponents and lie profusely, but the site's new "Truth Search AI" tool is unlikely to win his favor because it actually—get this—tells the truth about him and his policies.

A test conducted by the center-right news and commentary site The Bulwark found that the tool, which Truth Social debuted shortly after Trump signed an executive order to counter the use of “Woke AI” in the federal government, actually tells the truth about everything from his widely unpopular tariffs to the 2020 election results.

Trump Just Bragged That Everything In The Oval Office Is 'Real Gold'—And Even Laura Ingraham Isn't Buying It

President Donald Trump received a dubious reaction from Fox News personality Laura Ingraham after he touted the Oval Office's gold decor as "real gold" while giving her a tour.

The Oval Office has been significantly revamped since Trump took office in January—it features, among other things, fireplace adorned with gold cherubs and medallions, surrounded by portraits of American statesmen in ornate gold frames and shelves filled with gilded figurines, urns, and freshly installed Rococo mirrors.

Sydney Sweeney Speaks Out After 'Christy' Biopic Has One Of Worst Box Office Openings Of All Time

Sydney Sweeney can land a punch, but maybe not at the box office. Her latest film, Christy, a biopic about trailblazing boxer Christy Martin, landed a hard blow but barely connected with the audience, opening to a paltry $1.3 million.

That’s not just a loss; it’s a technical knockout in the “worst wide release openings ever” category, according to Box Office Mojo. For films debuting in over 2,000 theaters, Christy ranks at No. 12 overall and No. 9 when excluding rereleases.
