People can't help but troll President Donald Trump after he complained about a truly awful portrait of him hanging in the Colorado State Capitol building.
On Sunday night, Trump lashed out against Colorado Governor Jared Polis for hanging what he called a "purposefully distorted" portrait of him in the Colorado State Capitol building.
And hilariously, Trump included the portrait in the post itself for all to see:
Trump wrote:
âNobody likes a bad picture or painting of themselves, but the one in Colorado, in the State Capitol put up by the Governor, along with all other Presidents, was purposefully distorted to a level that even I, perhaps, have never seen before."
âThe artist also did President Obama, and he looks wonderful, but the one [of] me is truly the worst. She must have lost her talent as she got older. In any event, I would much prefer not having a picture than having this one, but many people from Colorado have called and written to complain."
"In fact, they are actually angry about it! I am speaking on their behalf to the Radical Left Governor, Jared Polis, who is extremely weak on Crime, in particular with respect to Tren de Aragua, which practically took over Aurora (Donât worry, we saved it!), to take it down. Jared should be ashamed of himself.â
Trump cited the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) while discussing recent deportations, referencing its alleged presence in Aurora, Colorado last year.

And a close-up of the portrait in question for good measure.
Of course, all Trump's complaints did was draw even more attention to the portrait he detests so much, and the reactions were hilarious, as people decided to troll Trump by posting the portrait even more widely.
Someone even used software to make the portrait look like Trump was cryingâpossibly out of frustration.
At least a couple played around with his hair and face with amusing results.
The portrait of Trump was added to the Colorado State Capitol's wall of presidential portraits in 2019, arriving a year after a prankster placed a photo of Russian President Vladimir Putin near the spot reserved for him.
The portrait, an oil painting by Sarah Boardman, was commissioned by a Republican State Senator via a GoFundMe campaign in 2018, with Colorado Republicans raising over $10,000 to fund it. Boardman, who also painted the Capitolâs portrait of Barack Obama, completed the piece as part of the stateâs ongoing tradition of honoring U.S. presidents.
