Though it's far from the most important story of the week, a strange subplot has been following President Trump as he rallies throughout battleground states in the lead up to the 2020 elections.
Again and again, the President tries to brag about the nation's "hydrosonic" missiles.
Hydrosonic is a brand of toothbrush and has nothing to do with our missile defense systems.
For at least the fifth time this weekend, Trump just bragged about the military's "Hydrosonic" missiles. "Hydrosonic" is a brand of toothbrush. pic.twitter.com/nupohu8dn4

Trump has used the term repeatedly.
If anyone's correcting him offstage, it isn't sinking in.
Trump again repeatedly brags about the military's "hydrosonic" missiles. He means "hypersonic." "Hydrosonic" is a brand of tooth brush. pic.twitter.com/0wxzHOuMDx

"We have a missile. It's hydrosonic." -- Hydrosonic is a toothbrush brand. It's unbelievable that somebody around Trump hasn't corrected this embarrassing mistake he keeps making at every rally. pic.twitter.com/gTVILXXTmu

Trump likely intends to say "hypersonic," which refers to objects that can travel at five times the speed of sound.

The internet took note of the President's repeated misuse of the word while he also attacked Joe Biden's mental acuity.
It's far from the President's first mistake while speaking.
Considering some of the President's past opinions, some online weren't positive he had made a mistake after all...
Hydrosonic missiles will be sure to defend our country against the threat of plaque.
Even the President is entitled to the occasional silly mistake, but President Trump always likes to take things to the next level.
