Election Lawyer Slammed For Urging Pro-Trumpers To Stock Up On 'Second Amendment Supplies'

Election Lawyer Slammed For Urging Pro-Trumpers To Stock Up On 'Second Amendment Supplies'
Fox News/YouTube

Lawyer Lin Wood, the extremist conservative who challenged Donald Trump's Georgia loss in court, is now telling Trump supporters across the U.S. to stock up on "2nd Amendment supplies" because "our leader is [Donald Trump,] not Joe Biden."

The tweet, only the latest in a series of easily debunked conspiracy theories spread by Republicans to undermine Joe Biden's election win, seems to blatantly encourage conservatives to take up arms.

Other far-right conservative media personalities amplified Wood's tweet.

The lawyer would go on to urge Trump supporters to "Stay strong" and "#FightBack." He also told them that when "it feels like chaos, it is a plan."

President Trump himself retweeted Wood, telling his followers the recount in Georgia was a "scam."

On Twitter, of course, many felt Wood was off his rocker.

Far-right conservatives online, however, took up Wood's call to arms.

Some liberals on social media began to make fun of conspiracy-hungry conservatives by telling them to sit out the next election if they're so sure it's rigged.

President Trump's refusal to concede the election caused huge swaths of the country to doubt the foundations of our democracy.

Several Twitter users tagged the FBI, believing Wood's tweet could bring about violence.

Irresponsible lawyers like Wood, who spread false rhetoric that could potentially incite violence, have no place on the public stage.
