President Trump is no stranger to misogyny and hate speech.

He even got caught on a hot mic by Access Hollywood engaging in extremely sexist and misogynistic speech.

Now a new book reveals transphobia as well.

According to an excerpt from the new book Sinking in the Swamp, Trump once called NBC journalist Katy Tur, whose parent is a transgender woman:

"that bitch with the tr***y dad."

Considering his Twitter insults and what he said about reporter Megyn Kelly when she dared to ask him anything off his own campaign's script, there is little doubt the President would say what he's been accused of. The slur occurred after being interviewed by Tur in the early days of his 2016 presidential campaign.

Tur—an NBC News correspondent at the time—questioned Trump's use of divisive language. His on camera response was also hostile.

Trump later called Tur "Little Katy" and a "third-rate journalist" during a campaign rally. But two Daily Beast staffers claim his remarks in private were much worse. Lachlan Markay and Asawin Suebsaeng—authors of Sinking in the Swamp—say that is when Trump called Tur:

"that bitch with the tr***y dad."

The now MSNBC anchor is the daughter of Zoey Tur. The elder Tur is also a journalist and helicopter pilot best-known for her real-time coverage of OJ Simpson's infamous white Bronco 1994 low-speed chase.

Zoey is also an outspoken critic of Trump's, referring to him as a "fascist" and "mentally ill" during the 2016 campaign. For those reasons, few doubt Trump would use a transphobic slur or call Katy Tur a bitch.

After all, despite repeatedly being told by Native leaders and organizations that it is not OK to use the name of Pocahontas as a racial slur to attack Senator and presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren, Trump still uses the Native woman's name as a slur nearly every time he talks about Warren.

Following the news of the President's use of the transphobic slur, Zoey Tur replied with a reference to Trump.

Stormy Daniels famously referred to Trump's asset as:

"smaller than average… like the mushroom character in Mario Kart."

After the revelation, many now use mushrooms to refer to Trump.

Sinking in the Swamp states Trump routinely used offensive and misogynistic language towards women who dared to criticize him. Anyone who follows Trump on Twitter knows that is true.

The book says Trump also frequently attacked Meghan McCain each time she criticized him, making comments about her weight, calling her "dumber" than her late father and saying no one would care what she said if not for her famous father.

Authors Markay and Suebsaeng wrote regarding his McCain comment:

"This was said without a hint of self-awareness, given the forty-fifth president's last name, the cushy White House jobs afforded to his daughter and son-in-law, the interventions on their behalves when they were unable to secure government security clearances, and the nepotism undergirding Trump's own rise in New York real estate, to say nothing of the well-maintained fortunes of Tiffany, Eric, Don Jr, and so forth."

Meanwhile, Katy Tur was busy in Iowa with caucus coverage when the book excerpt that referenced her was released.

The journalist didn't directly address the comments by the President, but did share another reference to Trump.

Tur's Twitter page's pinned tweet is also a reference to Trump.

Others addressed the President's transphobia more directly.
