Don Jr. Implies That Only Dems Did Business With Epstein And Maxwell—And It Backfired Hard

Donald Trump Jr. implied that only Democrats did business with the child sex traffickers Jeffrey Epstein, who died by suicide in prison in 2019, and Ghislaine Maxwell after Blaze host Chad Prather called for anyone connected to the underage sex trafficking operation to be publicly named.

Writing on Twitter, Trump Jr. suggested that if the list were a list of conservatives, it would all be publicly available information, receive round-the-clock media coverage, and encompass a complete investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Trump Jr., adding that "people would rightfully be going to jail for a long time," implied that Democrats had orchestrated a climate of "sealed evidence, total silence, and inaction."

However, Trump Jr.'s remarks willingly obfuscate the fact that his father, former President Donald Trump, had a close relationship with Epstein and Maxwell for decades. The trio were often photographed together.

The former President once referred to Epstein as “terrific guy” in an interview with New York magazine, a statement that came back to haunt him over the following decade when Epstein was arrested on federal charges for the sex trafficking of minors in Florida and New York.

Much later, once Maxwell was arrested and Trump, who by then was in office, was asked for remarks, he said, “I just wish her well, frankly," a comment that placed his association with the two criminals under further scrutiny.

In fact, flight logs introduced in Maxwell's trial showed Trump flew on Epstein's private jet seven times between 1993 and 1997,

Many reminded Trump Jr. of these facts noting that his own father would wind up in the crosshairs of the investigation if his desire for people to "rightfully" go to jail comes to fruition.

Maxwell's trial garnered heavy press coverage. On December 29, 2021, having been charged with the crimes of enticement of minors and sex trafficking of underage girls, she was convicted on five of six counts. She faces a second trial on charges that she lied under oath about Epstein's abuse of underage girls.

Gavin Newsom Shames Trump For 'Politicizing' Los Angeles Fires In Powerful Clip

After President-elect Donald Trump spread lies about the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires, blaming California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom for the destruction, Newsom addressed the matter on CNN, telling Anderson Cooper that Trump "wanted to politicize" the disaster even as people flee and lose their lives.

Deadly wildfires in Los Angeles County remain largely uncontained, with officials reporting at least five confirmed fatalities so far. However, on Thursday, authorities admitted, “frankly, we don’t know” the true extent of the death toll. Evacuation orders are currently affecting nearly 180,000 residents, as thousands of homes and buildings have been destroyed.
