Trump Threatens Fox News Over New Savage Anti-Trump Ad They Just Aired

Former Republican President Donald Trump lashed out at Fox News after the network ran an anti-Trump ad in Bedminster, New Jersey—a local market where Trump happens to own a golf course.

The ad, titled Sucker, was created by The Lincoln Project—a conservative, Republican Super PAC formed in December 2019 and dedicated to "Defeat President Trump and Trumpism at the ballot box."

Sucker rather succinctly addresses the Republicans who've embraced the MAGA movement. Trump's MAGA minions continue to elevate Trump's falsehoods about the 2020 presidential election in the public consciousness.

They also participated in and downplayed the January 6 insurrection which took place when a White nationalist lead mob of Trump's supporters attacked the United States Capitol on the false premise the election was stolen.

The Lincoln Project ad says by declaring the election was stolen, Trump conned his supporters and ran "the biggest scam in political history."

You can watch Sucker for yourself below.

A furious Trump responded shortly afterward in a post on Truth Social, the struggling social media platform he created after he was booted from Twitter for inciting the insurrection.

He attacked The Lincoln Project—which he suggested is run by "Perverts and Lowlifes"—as well as Fox News for airing the ad in the first place.

In his attack against Fox, he threatened legal action and specifically criticized Paul Ryan, the former Republican House Speaker who currently sits on the board of the Fox Corporation and who has often criticized Trump despite partnering with him on his legislative priorities.

Trump said:

"The Perverts and Lowlifes of the Lincoln Project are back on, where else, Fox News."
"I thought they ran away to the asylum after their last catastrophic campaign, with charges made against them that were big time sleaze, and me getting many millions more votes in 2020 than I got in 2016."
"The Perverts should not be allowed to 'false advertise,' and Fox News should not allow it to happen. See you all in Court!!!”

After The Lincoln Project shared Sucker on Twitter—noting it angered Trump—people did exactly what they knew would infuriate Trump further.

They shared it.

They echoed many of the criticisms of Trump and his MAGA movement mentioned in the ad, too.

The Lincoln Project has run multiple successful social media campaigns denouncing Trump and Trumpism, garnering millions of followers in the process.

The organization has previously criticized Trump acolytes in Congress for walking out of confirmation hearings for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, who despite Republican opposition was ultimately confirmed to serve on the United States Supreme Court replacing former Associate Justice Stephen Breyer.

Other members of the Trump family are not off-limits as demonstrated by a recent viral video in which the organization compiled examples of bizarre behavior from Trump's son Donald Trump Jr., who has previously admonished the organization for opposing Trump and the wider MAGA movement.
