Kevin McKay, who was previously employed as a bodyguard for Donald Trump, has claimed Trump owes him $130 for a trip to McDonald's in 2008.

The 50-year-old former bodyguard told The Daily Mail:

"He told me he would pay me back, but he never did."

He held onto the hope he would eventually be reimbursed for a while, but to no avail.

"For much of the time I was working for him, I kept thinking he would say, 'Kevin, here's that money I owe you', but it didn't happen."

McKay eventually saw the light, though.

"I thought he was an okay guy when I first started working for him, but I guess as we have all come to see, he is not a man of his word."

The McDonald's trip in question happened in Aberdeen, during a trip to one of Trump's golf courses in Scotland. The real estate mogul wanted burgers for the plane trip back to the US, and decided to order for everyone in his party.

McKay described the food ordered:

"20 cheeseburgers and fries with around 10 or 15 Coca Colas. I think Mr. Trump ordered two cheeseburgers with fries and a Diet Coke – that was his usual order and he always wanted McDonald's to take with him on the private jet."

The enormous order came out to £94 (around $130), but Trump didn't have any of the appropriate currency on him. Instead, he asked McKay to cover the order, promising to pay him back later.

McKay never saw the money, though.

Twitter users were hardly surprised by the news Trump failed to pay a debt owed.

McKay's is just the most recent in a long line of claims of Donald Trump not paying his debts, and it likely won't be the last.

Trump Accidentally Roasts Himself With Ironic Question About 'Stupid People'

President Donald Trump was widely mocked after he attempted to defend his disastrous tariff strategy to reporters in the Oval Office on Wednesday and issued a rhetorical question about "stupid people" that said more about him than anyone else.

Trump would later declare a full 90-day suspension of all the “reciprocal” tariffs that took effect at midnight April 10—except for those on China—in a dramatic about-face from a president who had long championed his historically high tariff rates as permanent.
