In recent days it was reported Donald Trump has been entertaining a martial law plot put forward by his pardoned former national security advisor, Michael Flynn. The idea would basically amount to a military coup to overturn the results of the 2020 election and keep the duly elected President-elect from being sworn in on January 20.

However, another former national security advisor to the President—John Bolton—felt that even talking about this was 'appalling'.

He told CNN's Wolf Blitzer:

"There's no other way to describe it. It's unbelievable [and] almost certainly without precedent, but it's important to understand this is just another day at the office, at the Oval."
"He's unfit for the job. I don't think he's ever read the Constitution."
"If he has, he clearly didn't understand it, and if he did understand it one point, he's forgotten it."

The full video of the Bolton interview can be seen below.

President Trump—having caught wind of Bolton's statement—responded on Twitter.

People pointed out Trump hired Bolton, the man he now calls the dumbest in Washington.

Many were confused as to what the President's dig was referring to.

Some tried to parse out the reference.

Others tried to figure out the President's logic.

And most just wanted the Trump era to be over.

Less then a month until President-elect Biden is sworn in.

Trump Dragged After Making Ridiculous Claim About Randomly Finding Billions On The 'Tariff Shelf'

Tariffs are a tax on imported goods, usually calculated as a percentage of the purchase price. While tariffs can shield domestic manufacturers by making foreign products more expensive, they are also used as a tool to penalize countries engaged in unfair trade practices, such as government subsidies or dumping goods below market value.

Bride's Friends Surprise Her With Montage Video Of All Her Exes At Bachelorette Party—And People Are Mortified

While Jenny Han's novel To All the Boys I've Loved Before was a major hit, and even became a great film success in 2018, not everyone's married to the idea of reconnecting with their exes after the relationships end.

It might be nice to imagine staying friends after the relationships, imagining our exes missing us or regretting losing us, or even giving us an apology for the things they did wrong. But most of us pine for this for a little while, realize it's all a fairy tale, and push past it to better things and new love.
