Another day, another baseless allegation from President Donald Trump.

After audio leaked of former President Barack Obama calling the Trump administration's bungled response to the national health crisis in the United States a "chaotic disaster" the President soon went berserk on Twitter.

Trump claimed that "Obamagate" was the biggest crime in American political history.

There's just one problem. When asked by White House correspondents at a Monday press briefing what exactly Obama had done, Trump couldn't name a specific offense.

Watch below.

The first time the question was asked, Trump gave a rambling response:

"Obamagate. It's been going on for a long time. It's been going on from before I even got elected and it's a disgrace that it happened, and if you look at what's gone on and if you look at now, all this information that's being released, and from what I understand that's only the beginning."
"Some terrible things happened and it should never be allowed to happen in our country again...and I wish you'd write honestly about it, but unfortunately you choose not to do so."

White House Bureau Chief for The Washington Post, Phillip Rucker, asked again what specifically was the crime committed by President Obama only for Trump to reply:

"You know what the crime is. The crime is very obvious to everybody. All you have to do is read the newspapers, except yours."

While Trump's supporters may buy into accusations that Trump can't back up or even idenitify, others aren't.

People began guessing what the so-called "crime" could be.

Let it go, Donald.
