Fans of Tom Holland were in a tizzy after he "liked" LADbible's Instagram post about sex and shorter men.

The Spider-Man actor's interaction on social media came after he addressed the public's fixation during an interview on the height difference between him and his onscreen/offscreen girlfriend, Zendaya.

In their post, LADbible–a British digital media company–referenced an article suggesting shorter men were having more sex than taller guys.

"According to The Journal of Sexual Medicine, shorter men are more sexually active than taller men - who would have thought ay?," read the caption posted with an image from a movie poster of 1988's Twins, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito.

The post continued:

"A study of 531 heterosexual men found 'coital frequency was higher among men with a height of less than 175cm'—which is just under 5'9."

Holland is 5'8 tall, while Zendaya is 5'10.

Comments By Celebs screengrabbed the actor's cheeky social media interaction.

In a SiriusXM interview earlier this month, host Jessica Shaw said she mentioned the hubbub around the couple's height difference in the hopes it inspires a conversation about the "problematic" assumption women should be shorter than men.

LADbible's post continued:

"Normally it's thought people prefer a taller man so why is this the case? Yahoo spoke to short men to see what they thought and here's what Dave - who's 5ft 5 and dating a much taller woman - thinks: 'I think I'm generally more confident than my taller peers. And since I can't rely on a silly immaterial thing like height to help me, I can lean into more substantive things about me and about her.'"
"Like our minds. And a sense of humor. And what we love in the world. Engaging with a person on those fronts will get you intimate faster than a passive physical feature."
"Can we get a 👑 in the comments for our short kings 🙌"

Holland, who is 25, confirmed he had been in a relationship with Zendaya, 24, in a cover story for GQ’s Men of the Year issue after rumors have been circulating about their romantic relationship since 2017.

A frequent topic in interviews, he commented on his height difference with Zendaya on the Graham Norton Show, describing a problematic scene from the latest Spider-Man film where the couple lands on a bridge.

But due to Zendaya's height, her feet would land first.

"So Zendaya would land, and I'm the superhero, I'm supposed to look cool. And I would land and my feet would swing from underneath me and then she would catch me."

Elaborating on the public's obsession over his dating life, Holland told GQ:

“One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world."
“I’ve always been really adamant to keep my private life private, because I share so much of my life with the world anyway...We sort of felt robbed of our privacy.”

He added:

"I don’t think it’s about not being ready [to talk about the relationship] It’s just that we didn’t want to.”
