The internet has been eagerly awaiting any news of A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, the biopic based on the life of one Mr. Fred Rogers. Mr. Rogers helped to shape the way many Americans learned about the world as children.

He encouraged loving one another and treating everyone with respect and, unlike many others at the time, this included loving those society discriminated against.

Tom Hanks portrays Rogers in the film, which is due to release on November 22nd of this year.

Fans haven't gotten much of a look at the film, as there is still no trailer, but the studio has released a couple of photos of Hanks in character.

In honor of what would have been Mr. Rogers' 91st birthday, another photo of Hanks has been released.

The photo shows what will be a familiar scene to anyone who grew up watching Mister Rogers' Neighborhood: Rogers changing his shoes upon entering the house at the start of the show. Rogers always changed out of his jacket and dress shoes, and into a cardigan and tennis shoes, at the start of every episode.

There were quite a few tears shed over the photo.

Some appreciated Rogers' and Hanks' contributions to the world.

Hanks being cast in the role was a popular subject as well.

Many are eagerly awaiting November 22nd!

If anyone is feeling extra nostalgic and wants to revisit one of their childhood favorites, MisterRogers.org posts 5 episodes every other Monday for viewers to stream from their website.

Or treat yourself (and your children) to the entire series.

Additionally, the extraordinary documentary Won't You Be My Neighbor (which was ROBBED of an Oscar nomination last year) is available for purchase. (Be wary; I sobbed my way through it.)

Fred Rogers spent his life encouraging children to treat each other with love and courtesy, and taught valuable life skills through his television program. There are few Americans who don't cherish their memories of their beloved neighbor.

A 'Fake Egg' Prank Targeting Kids Is Trending On TikTok—But Not Everyone Thinks It's Funny

In a recent TikTok trend, people are presenting young children with "fake eggs" and crushing the egg in their hands to show that the eggs are fake.

In order for this trend to work, the person has to poke a hole into each end of the egg to drain it of its yolk and let the shell dry, so it becomes more brittle and easy to crush, making the prank more believable.

Guy Sparks Debate After Abandoning Girlfriend In Economy While He Booked Himself A First Class Seat On Flight

It's really hard to watch while someone is clearly not being treated well enough by their partner, and instead of accepting the reality check for what it is, they spend their time digging their heels in deeper and defending their partner's honor.

That was certainly true for TikToker Nicole Vawter, or @nicmarievee, anyway, when fellow TikTokers called her partner out on selfishly booking himself a first class seat while his long-time girlfriend sat back in economy.

Guy Sparks Modern Dating Debate With His Unhinged Texts To Woman Who Turned Him Down For Second Date

You know what they say: if a person has to point out how nice they are, they probably aren't really all that nice.

Actions tend to speak louder than words, with an affinity for niceness and kindness being among the best examples. When a person is truly nice and kind, it will come through in their daily attitude and actions without them having to say anything at all.
