The Creepy New Cover Of Time Takes Aim At Trump And Putin—With A Little Help From Photoshop

You know they say when two people start to hang out a lot they may begin to look like each other. This week Time Magazine put that theory to the test with a cover of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin put together. (Okay, they may have had some help with Photoshop.)

The July 30, 2018 cover of Time Magazine has more than a few of us creeped out. The cover shows the melding of Trump and Putin's faces into one terrifying face of one ultra egomaniac. What's so disturbing about the photo is how hard it is to see where Putin ends and Trump begins.

According to Time, the image was created by visual artist Nancy Burson to accompany an article written by Brian Bennett. In the piece, Bennett writes:

A year and a half into his presidency, Trump's puzzling affinity for Putin has yet to be explained. Trump is bruised by the idea that Russian election meddling taints his victory, those close to him say, and can't concede the fact that Russia did try to interfere in the election, regardless of whether it impacted the outcome. He views this problem entirely through a political lens, these people say, unable or unwilling to differentiate between the question of whether his campaign colluded with Russia—which he denies—and the question of whether Russia attempted to influence the election.

There was some debate about whether Trump would love it or hate it.

No doubt the President will be tweeting about this soon.
