A TikTok video of a woman who expertly shut down a dude who had allegedly hit on her at a bar went viral for inspiring other women to stand up for themselves.

TikToker @silkysmooth___ posted the eight-second clip, and it quickly became the popular video on the account's page with over two million views.

The video started after the man had apparently tried to make a move by hitting on the tall woman who was with her group of friends.

In a floating caption, she was identified as "the kind but straightforward friend we all need."

The woman had enough of his persistence and told him, with a drink in hand:

"I understand you're on drugs, you're being a bit of an a**hole. So why don't you go take a lap."

Another female patron who was sitting at a barstool next to the offender chimed in after noticing he wasn't leaving her friend alone.

"Now," she firmly told him as the video cut out.

The woman was instantly praised for showing the incoherent inebriate who's boss.

TikTokers guessed the authoritative woman might be a gym teacher, which would make sense given the effortless ease with which she told him to basically take a time out and go stand in the corner.
