Influencer Roasted After Saying Going For Coffee Or A Walk Are Unacceptable First Date Options

If you're thinking of dating TikTok and Instagram influencer Kornelija Slunjski, you better come correct with a dinner reservation in hand and a walletful of cash, because she's not about that coffee date life.

And people on the internet are roasting her to a crisp for it.

Slunjski, who goes by kokobeaute on TikTok and describes herself as your "boujee best friend," struck a nerve with her video detailing why walks and coffees are unacceptable date options.

@kokobeaute

NO to zero effort men #datingadvicefortheladies #datinglife2021 #datingtoday

The video, which is captioned "NO to zero effort men," went viral in recent weeks as people found her exacting demands for the men in her life ridiculous, unattainable, or just downright offensive.

But say what you want about Slunjski's demands, it's hard to argue with her points, even if you disagree on the whole.

For instance, here's her two cents on taking a walk as a date option:

"First of all, I'm not a dog that needs to be walked."

Well, she's got us there.

And as for coffee dates?

"...I have a Nespresso machine at home – works fabulous."

Fair enough!

So maybe you should start off by taking Slunjski for a drink, right? WRONG. She's not doing that either.

Why?

"You're going to try to get me drunk and take me back home."

Ok so what is an acceptable first date for this extra-choosy influencer?

One thing and one thing only—dinner. Slunjski explained she wants to see if you have manners, whether you can hold your chopsticks correctly, and she wants to "study you a bit." So "dinner it is," she concluded.

Many of her fellow TikTokers protested she is overly "high maintenance," but in follow-up videos addressing the blowback, Slunjski said in her native Croatia, this is just how dating works. And as she pointed out in another video—filmed on a private jet, of course—she's just "used to" a lifestyle with a high price tag.

@kokobeaute

Reply to @dlink2020 let the trolls tell me what’s high maintenance #highmaintanence #highmaintanance #keepyourstandardshigh

As you might imagine, none of this earned her any points with her fellow TikTokers, who roasted her to a deeply charred crisp in the comments.

But the blowback hasn't given Slujnski a moment of pause.

In her final follow-up video, she doubled down on her advice, telling her female followers to "never lower your standards for a man who cannot rise up to them."

MAGA Senator Faces Backlash For Dodging Question About High Beef Prices—And People Are Having A Cow

Mississippi Republican Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith is facing backlash after dodging a question about high beef prices amid the nationwide affordability crisis and telling WLOX news viewers that they have "so many proteins to choose from."

Last month, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins claimed that food prices were coming down, even as the Consumer Price Index shows grocery costs rose 0.7% in December. Beef, which Rollins elevated near the top of the food pyramid in the dietary guidelines she recently unveiled, increased 1% over the month and was up 16.4% compared with a year earlier.

Trump Calls For Robert De Niro To Be Deported After His Blistering 'State Of The Swamp' Speech

President Donald Trump lashed out at actor Robert De Niro, threatening him with deportation after the legendary actor joined fellow celebrities and Democratic politicians for an alternative "State of the Swamp" event during Trump's rambling State of the Union address.

The event was put together by the anti-Trump organization Defiance.org alongside the artist-activist collective Portland Frog Brigade and the advocacy media network Courier. Organizers described it as a response to what they describe as "abuses of power" by Trump, as well as by figures who have previously served in his orbit.
