After leaving Wendy's a negative review for overworking and underpaying their staff, a woman was stunned to receive an angry phone call from a Wendy's manager wherein he attempted to refute her.

The woman said she received a call from a man who was upset that she'd called the company out on Its poor labor policies, saying her claims were "absolutely ridiculous."

I’d love to have another chat with Jeremy, hopefully this time he won’t hang up on me when I catch him lying. @Wendy’s #liveablewage #badmanager

"The man was infuriated that I had submitted a review simply stating that perhaps if they paid their employees a livable wage, they would have more employees and the staff at my local location would not always be chronically understaffed and overworked."

The manager, whose name was Jeremy, immediately went after her for her choice of language.

Several places across the United States are understaffed due to low wage offerings, a fact which our original poster, or OP, pointed out in the original review she left.

She pointed to it as the reason her local location was always understaffed.

"He also told me that people are lazy and just didn't want to work and that was why they couldn't find employees."
"I can tell you why you can't find employees: it's because you're an a**hole, and you don't pay people enough to put up with a**holes like you."

The TikToker said Jeremy grew increasingly more hostile as the call went on, expecting her "to back down and cave when he pressured" her.

After the call, she reported the man to Wendy's corporate.

Wendy's finally returned her call, and in a follow-up video, she said they offered next to nothing for workers, while only offering her a hollow apology.

The fight for fair wages across the United States continues.
