Yesterday, most people were horrified when a gang of insurrectionists took over the nation's capitol, halting the certification of President-elect Joe Biden's win. While President Trump egged on the violent rioters, and Democrats and Republicans alike condemned it, his daughter Tiffany Trump turned her attentions elsewhere.

She wished her half-brother Eric Trump a happy birthday with a photo of the two of them standing in the very same capital city that was under siege at that very moment.

Her caption read:

"Happy Birthday @erictrump I love you and I'm so grateful to always have you by my side! ❤️"

Many were quick to condemn her tone-deafness.

Some had thoughts about what Eric might be getting for his birthday.

And most wondered if she had even taken a look at the news.

There is less than two weeks left in the Trump presidency, no matter what he tries to do. Joe Biden will be sworn in on January 20.

Trump Just Weighed In On Luigi Mangione Supporters—And It Was An Instant MAGA Self-Own

Mangione was charged last Monday in Manhattan with second-degree murder, forgery, and three firearm-related offenses. The charges stem from the fatal shooting of Brian Thompson in Midtown Manhattan last week. The New York Police Department had previously released images of Mangione in connection with the incident.

We might be nearing the end of 2024, but there still are people who refuse to let other people's bodies just be... bodies. Bodies that don't need to be commented on, bodies that don't need to be criticized, bodies that just exist alongside a lot of other bodies.

Fortunately, people on the receiving end of body-shaming comments are getting more and more creative in their responses.
