Civil Rights activist Rosa Parks cemented her place in history when she refused to give up her seat for a white man on a segregated bus, spurring the Montgomery Bus Boycott which would be crucial to desegregating public transportation in Alabama.

They raised eyebrows after comparing a perceived injustice against Cruz to the dehumanizing policy of segregation Parks endured.

The comparison is in a lawsuit against the Federal Election Commission (FEC). FEC rules say that a candidate can only be repaid up to $250,000 with campaign funds for personal loans to their campaigns. Ted Cruz lent $260,000 to his successful

The suit states:

"The FEC also asserts that Senator Cruz and the Cruz Committee inflicted their injuries on themselves because they could have arranged to repay the Senator's loans using pre-election funds. Yes, and Rosa Parks could have sat in the back of the bus."

In this straightforward, compelling autobiography, Rosa Parks talks candidly about the civil rights movement and her active role in it. Her dedication is inspiring; her story is unforgettable."
