Senator Ted Cruz has long been accused of being no friend to people of color.

As such, his recent attack on Justin Timberlake under the guise of concern for minority owned businesses while also trying to make Black Lives Matter protestors look violent drew more criticism than praise.

After Justin Timberlake posted a tweet in support of donations to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, Cruz (a Republican Senator from Texas) decided to retweet him and add his two cents.

But Twitter is not to be messed with.

Especially not right now.

Several people are pointing out that Ted Cruz is also a millionaire and could donate his money if he's so worried.

Not only that, he could affect change in other ways.

It's hypocrisy at its finest.

Justin Timberlake has yet to respond to Cruz's tweet, but celebrities are en masse tweeting out support for organizations like the Minnesota Freedom Fund.
