A security guard who went viral for singing to Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour stop in Minneapolis posted a follow-up TikTok revealing that he was fired from the venue.
Calvin Denker melted the hearts of Swifties after concertgoers captured him soulfully singing along to the Grammy winner while performing his duties.
Sadly, however, the security company BEST wasn't too entertained by their employee.
Denker shared that the issue wasn't that he was singing along during the concert but that he was passing notes to nearby fans asking them to take photos when T-Swift was in the background.
However, Denker argued in his video that all he was doing was asking for pictures, which he states is not against company policy as he wasn't taking the photos himself.
“The HR woman who called me wasn’t able to articulate what exactly I did wrong because I didn’t do anything beyond asking for photos."
“I never took my own phone out, and above all else I made sure that Taylor Swift was safe, and all the fans had a good time."
Denker also added that he holds "no grudges" against the company but just wanted to update his followers.
