Video Of Singer Tate McRae Perfectly Predicting Super Bowl Score Resurfaces—And Fans Are Stunned

A video from 2023 of the singer correctly predicting that the Eagles would win the Super Bowl 40-22 has gone viral.

The internet was blown away after a resurfaced video showed singer Tate McRae accurately predicting the exact outcome of this year's Super Bowl in a past interview.

The Philadelphia Eagles obliterated the Kansas City Chiefs with a 40-22 victory Sunday at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

In a September 2023 interview, McRae nailed it with her premonition about the winning team and the exact score.

Multiple football fan social media channels shared the clip of the 21-year-old "Greedy" singer being interviewed by the Q102 Philly radio station, where she was pressed for her knowledge about the City of Brotherly Love and its people with a series of questions.

For every answer she got wrong, she had to put an Eagles sticker on her face.

With a couple of stickers already on one cheek, McRae was asked about an upcoming NFL game, to which she asked, "This is football, right?"

The off-camera interviewer confirmed it with a chuckle and McRae continued, “I think it’s gonna be 70," before correcting herself with:

"No, it’s going to be 40 and 22.”

The shared video ended with the interviewer asking who would win, and with no mention of the teams competing, the Toronto-based singer answered with conviction, "Obviously Philly," before doubling over, laughing.

Now that's McRae-cray.

Here's a TikTok clip.

Even if it was about a different super bowl this is insane 😂😂 #nfl #tatemcrae #eagles #philly #superbowl

Social media users were dumbfounded by the resurfaced clip.

People immediately sought her powers.

People magazine noted that according to the Philadelphia Eagles website, the Eagles were scheduled to play several teams around the time McRae’s interview took place in 2023.

Since the Q102 Philly radio station originally posted the clip on Instagram on September 25, 2023, the singer likely predicted the score from a match the same day between the Eagles and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

During the casual couch interview, McRae continued getting stickers on her face for giving wrong answers, including calling the name of the Eagle's home stadium "Philadelphia," instead of Lincoln Financial Field, and falsely naming Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as quarterback of the Eagles.

No, Tate. But thanks for playing.

That would be Jalen Hurts, who was named Super Bowl LIX MVP on Sunday after throwing 221 yards, two touchdowns, and running in a third touchdown on a tush push play.

She hilariously admitted Mahomes was the "only quarterback I know," to which the interviewer quipped, "No comment."

McRae may not be well-versed in all things Philly and football, but she definitely didn't fumble with her psychic abilities.
