Fox News Host Epically Rips Jeanine Pirro's Absurd Claim That Trump Is 'Not Afraid Of Anything'

Jessica Tarlov wasn't buying her 'The Five' cohost's claim that Trump is 'not afraid of anything' as he tries to avoid courtrooms and time in prison.

In a recent exchange on Fox News' The Five, liberal commentator Jessica Tarlov didn't mince words when she confronted her co-host, Jeanine Pirro, over claims about former President Donald Trump's purported fearlessness.

During the discussion, Pirro asserted that Trump is "not afraid of anything," prompting a swift response from Tarlov, who labeled such assertions as "complete insanity."

The exchange kicked off after Tarlov highlighted the irony of Trump labeling President Joe Biden a "threat to democracy," especially considering Trump's own attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.

You can watch what happened in the video below.

Tarlov said:

"To say that Joe Biden is the threat to democracy, considering what Donald Trump and his band of lawyers tried to pull off in 2020, is complete insanity. He dispatched lawyers all over the country to overturn a free and fair election."
"A lot of them have pled out to doing this, a lot of them are still to face trial, and he is doing his darndest to make sure that he doesn’t have to show up in any of these courtrooms because he’s definitely afraid of what’s going to happen there."

To this, Pirro responded:

“He’s not afraid of anything.”

When Tarlov scoffed at Pirro's assertion, Pirro insisted:

“I know him. He’s not.”

Tarlov was quick to shut Pirro down:

“You do know him and I don’t know him, but I don’t think that that man who doesn’t even want to sleep in a hotel bed wants to go to jail. So don’t refute what happened.”

Tarlov went on to point out that individuals in Trump's inner circle, including lawyers Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani, are facing significant legal troubles, signaling that the odds for Trump—who has unsuccessfully kept trying to delay his New York hush money trial scheduled for Monday, April 15— don't look good at all.

Many mocked Pirro for her claim, noting that despite what she may say, Trump has reason to be afraid.

Trump's legal woes are indeed substantial, with four separate federal and state indictments looming over him.

These charges, across both federal and state cases, range from attempts to overturn the 2020 election results to allegations of mishandling classified documents and falsifying business records related to hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels in order to influence the 2016 election.

In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump lamented the perceived injustice of these legal proceedings, decrying them as a rush to judgment. He claimed that "animals want to put the former President of the United States (who got more votes than any sitting President!), & the PARTY’S REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE, IN JAIL, for doing absolutely nothing wrong."

Jury selection in the election interference trial is set to commence on Monday.
