The Immaculate star shared a roundup of cruel comments reacting to recent photos of her in a bikini before cutting to photos and videos of her training regimen for an upcoming biopic about boxer Christy Martin in an epic Instagram video.

We might be nearing the end of 2024, but there still are people who refuse to let other people's bodies just be... bodies. Bodies that don't need to be commented on, bodies that don't need to be criticized, bodies that just exist alongside a lot of other bodies.

Fortunately, people on the receiving end of body-shaming comments are getting more and more creative in their responses.

Actress Sydney Sweeney uses her Instagram like most of us do by capturing fun moments from her life, travels, time with friends, and of course important behind-the-scenes moments for films and commercials.

This summer, as Sweeney appeared in photos traveling, swimming, and frequently wearing a bikini, negative comments started to pour in about the shape and size of her body and what the commenters believe that said about Sweeney as a person.

The comments intensified when it was leaked that she's in the process of conditioning her body to portray famous boxer Christy Martin in an upcoming biopic. While physically training and likely consuming more protein, the actress displayed more defined muscles than she did previously, which led to a new wave of comments.

Sweeney decided that she had put up with enough and put together an epic response video.

The first half of the video featured screenshot after screenshot of negative comments about her body, her size, and her appearance.

The second half of the video switched to clips of her exercising and conditioning her body for the biopic, including flipping large tires and lifting weights.

You can watch the video here:

Fans of Sweeney were quick to show their support for her and her response.

It's one thing to notice someone's body changing, especially when they're conditioning for a movie and it would only stand to reason that their physical form would change to match the story, but there is no need to comment on those changes.

Fortunately for Sydney Sweeney, she can hold her own out there on social media, just like Christy Martin.

Ilhan Omar Claps Back Hard After Nancy Mace Tries To Insult Her With Bizarre Post Following Iran Attack

Minnesota Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar clapped back at South Carolina Republican Representative Nancy Mace after Mace attempted to insult her and Michigan Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib after President Donald Trump ordered an attack on various sites in Iran on Saturday morning that killed Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other top officials.

Omar and Tlaib were the first two Muslim women elected to Congress. Both have faced repeated attacks from members of the Republican Party tied to their religion, including being labeled part of the so-called “Jihad Squad,” a term suggesting they are sympathetic to extremism or seek to impose Islamist rule in the United States.

Pete Hegseth Ripped After Trying To Claim That The U.S. 'Didn't Start This War' With Iran

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was criticized after he claimed that the U.S. "didn't start this war" with Iran—just days after the Trump administration authorized an attack on various sites in Iran with the joint efforts of Israel over the weekend.

The war against Iran is already spreading beyond its initial battlefield. Iranian reprisals have struck Gulf states hosting U.S. bases—including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia—while Hezbollah has entered the fight, firing rockets into Israel and ending a month-long ceasefire.

'SNL' Turns Trump Diss About U.S. Women's Olympic Hockey Team On Its Head With Sweet Monologue Moment

Connor Storrie’s debut Saturday Night Live monologue had just about everything: jokes, a childhood throwback, a few perfectly placed Heated Rivalry innuendos, and—because this is apparently the most athletic season in Studio 8H history—both the gold-winning players from the U.S. men’s and women’s Olympic hockey teams.

The appearance came just days after controversy over invitations to the White House and President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address, giving the night an edge that felt bigger than a typical celebrity-cameo parade.
