A bride's plan to surprise her groom with a flash mob may have looked good on paper, but according to social media users, the execution was a nuptial miss.
Caila Quinn, who appeared on Ben Higgins' season of The Bachelor, married her fiancé Nick Burrello on May 29 at a beautiful ceremony in Sarasota, Florida.
As the couple stood at the altar with a lovely seaside view, four performers planted among wedding guests began bursting into song with a rendition of Frankie Vallie and the Four Season's "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You," and "I Love You, Baby" by Frank Sinatra.
Quinn posted the moment on TikTok and wrote in the video's caption:
"Surprised the groom and all of our guests with a flash mob broadway singing performance during our wedding ceremony."
@cailaquinn Surprised the groom & all of our guests with a flash mob #Broadway singing performance during our #weddingceremony! 💍#weddingceremonysurprise #bride
Flash mobs typically carry the expectation that a larger group of performers interrupt a gathering with greater fanfare through song and dance.
But the four singers standing up and singing acapella towards the bride and groom in the outdoor setting failed to make much of an impact, which was evidenced by the confused look on faces of the real guests.
TikTok users gave their mostly thumbs-down reviews.

The ABC reality show alum came in third for The Bachelor's 20th season but won Burrello's heart after the pair was introduced through a mutual friend.
Quinn announced their engagement in January 2020 after Burrello proposed to her.
She posted a photo of them on Instagram and wrote in the caption:
"Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend."
