Sub-Radio released their parody of My Chemical Romance's hit 'Welcome To The Black Parade' back in June to mock the Florida Governor.

A viral Twitter video posted during Pride month mocking Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is still going viral.

Washington D.C.-based pop band Sub-Radio posted a video last month that threw shade–and lots of glitter–at DeSantis, who signed a slate of extreme anti-LGBTQ+ laws, including a bill making it illegal for public school teachers to instruct on gender identity and sexual preferences.

On June 22, Sub-Radio posted the clip which showed the band performing the song with lyrics about participating in the Pride parade and telling LGBTQ+ revelers, "You’re Scaring Ron."

It was a hit then and it is still going strong post-fourth of July.

You can watch a clip here.

Social media users are continuing to give the rockin' tune a big thumbs up.

The song clip is 1:46 seconds long–which was far too short for those wanting to hear more.

One new fan even clamored to be in the official music video.

The Governor is currently campaigning for a 2024 presidential nomination for his party to go head-to-head with his rival, former Republican President Donald Trump.

While seeking endorsements for his Presidential nomination, DeSantis doubled down on his homophobic rhetoric by supporting his team's anti-LGBTQ+ video ad slamming Trump.

The campaign video that even conservatives said “ventured into homophobic territory" highlighted Trump's past support for the LGBTQ+ community and switched to showing boastful headlines of DeSantis' efforts in scaling back the rights of LGBTQ+ people, including signing a “draconian anti-trans bathroom bill.”

Sub-Radio gained stardom on Reddit after its guitarist Matt Prodanovich noticed people have turned to watching live streams of music online during the pandemic.

In October 2020, they started streaming on Reddit's open-access platform called Reddit Public Access Network (RPAN) and found much success leading to more viewership across other platforms like Apple Music and Spotify.

Sub-Radio's music was described as "infectious, bright pop and their music has been compared to bandsThe Killers, The Aces, and Panic At the Disco.
