Who's been walking down memory lane? It's been John Stamos all along.

The massive popularity of WandaVision has everyone talking about the new Marvel series. In particular the amazing acting chops of Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Wanda Maximoff, have been highly praised.

However, not everyone got to know Olsen only after her film career started in the early 2010s. She is also famously the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen of Full House fame.

Which means John Stamos has known her since she was little.

Stamos posted the throwback picture on his Instagram last week. He included a caption congratulating Olsen on the tremendous success of WandaVision, as well as plugging his own Disney+ series.

It said:

"One day she's a little girl wandering the set, and next thing you know, she's taking over a whole town, mindcontrolling the citizens to play out her favorite TV Sitcoms! They grow up so fast..."
"Wanda had a vision we'd both be on @disneyplus Check out #BigShot coming in April and @wandavision Tonight!"

The post got a lot of positive comments.

Stamos worked with Olsen's older sisters on Full House, where it seems Olsen would sometimes visit on set. While Olsen's older sisters' acting careers seemed like it would make the perfect introduction for her to try acting herself, it instead acted as a deterrent.

While she loved the idea of acting, she didn't think it looked like fun.

In an interview with Parade, she said:

"What I saw my sisters do was work, not play, and I really enjoyed ballet, and I really enjoyed playing sports. It took away from that experience."
"My dad quite literally asked me to write a pros and cons list so that I could make an informed decision at the age of—I think I was in fourth grade, so [I was] nine, I think. So, I wrote a pros and cons list and I decided that it was more important for me to be able to do extracurriculars."

However, as she got older, the acting bug seemed to have bit Olsen, leading her to her current career.

Being able to see where she came from was touching to a lot of people.

WandaVision, the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has found tremendous success with fans and critics alike. It sees Wanda Maximoff reunited with her lost love, the synthezoid Vision but seemingly trapped in a world that mimics sitcoms throughout the decades.

This is perfect for Olsen, as it allowed a fun reference to her older sisters' famous show, Full House. One of the episode openings ends with a nod to the opening of the hit 90s sitcom.

Many felt it was a perfect reference.

WandaVision is now streaming in its entirety on Disney+, while Stamos' new show, Big Shot, premieres next month.

On his Substack Wednesday, former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg wrote about why he decided to enter the "manosphere" and sit down with the hosts of the Flagrant podcast.

The manosphere is defined as a "varied collection of websites, blogs, podcasts, and online forums by men and for men often promoting masculinity, misogyny, and opposition to feminism. Communities within it include men's rights activists, incels, Men Going Their Own Way, pick-up artists, and fathers' rights groups."

Could SMG return to the IKWYDLS reboot?

Sarah Michelle Gellar? More like "Sarah Dead Gellar."

At least that’s what the iconic scream queen told director and best friend Jennier Kaytin Robinson when she tried to pitch all the ways to bring back Helen Shivers’ frozen corpse to life for the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot.
