After the rapper claimed that he decided to 'give up smoke,' it turns out it was actually just a tease for an ad about a Solo Stove smokeless fire pit.

Last week, the world collectively acknowledged the end of an era when a social media post by Snoop Dogg led many of us to believe he was giving up marijuana for good.

The rapper posted on both Instagram and Twitter:

"I'm giving up smoke."

A photo of a solemn Snoop Dogg accompanied a statement:

"After much consideration and conversation with my family, I've decided to give up smoke."
"Please respect my privacy at this time."

Given the rapper's extensive and intimate relationship with the devil's lettuce, the internet was rightfully shook.

A few, however, speculated the viral claim was a nod at some new business venture.

And they would be correct.

As it turns out, the rapper was blowing smoke up our ashes the whole time.

Yesterday, Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to reveal exactly what he meant by "giving up smoke."

The tweet that took the internet by storm was actually a teaser for an ad about a Solo Stove smokeless fire pit.

His Instagram post in collaboration with the brand was captioned:

"I’m done with smoke. I’m going smokeless with @solostove."

The post features a video beginning with a somber Snoop Dogg revealing:

“I have an announcement: I’m giving up smoke."
"I know what you thinkin’: ‘Snoop, smoke is kind of your whole thing!’"
"But I’m done with it."

As the camera zoomed out, the "Drop It Like It's Hot" singer could be seen under the lights of an outdoor patio, enjoying the warmth of smokeless flames.

He continued:

"I’m done with the coughing and my clothes smelling all sticky-icky."
"I’m going smokeless. Solo Stove fixed fire."
"They took out the smoke: Clever.”

Clever, indeed.

You can see the ad below.

Reactions to the big reveal were all over the board on social media.

Of course, people were highly 😉 entertained.

Though many also felt betrayed.

But everyone agreed the stunt was marketing genius.

Yep, he definitely got us with that one.

Well done, Snoop. Well done. *slow clap*

Michael Jackson Fans Called Out Over Their Deranged Reaction To Paris Jackson Talking About Her Late Dad

Paris Jackson is no stranger to public scrutiny—but this time, the backlash isn’t about her. It’s about fans of her late father, Michael Jackson, and the increasingly unhinged way they’re responding to her simply speaking about him.

It all started when Entertainment Tonight shared a red carpet interview from the Vanity Fair Vanities party, where Jackson was asked about the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic. The film stars her cousin, Jaafar Jackson, as the King of Pop, with Colman Domingo portraying family patriarch Joe Jackson.

Riley Gaines Ripped For Bonkers Attempt To Discredit Tim Walz After He Condemns Trump's Genocidal Threat To Iran

Former NCAA swimmer and current transphobic conservative darling Riley Gaines was criticized for a desperate attempt to discredit Minnesota Governor Tim Walz after he condemned President Donald Trump's genocidal threat to kill the "whole civilization" of Iran.

Trump has insisted that God supports his war on Iran and declared—before a provisional ceasefire was announced—that "a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again" ahead of a deadline to bomb Iran’s power plants and bridges that legal scholars and world leaders have said would constitute war crimes.
