Man Happens To Have His Phone In The Exact Right Place At The Exact Right Time To Prevent An Arrow To The Face

Not only are phones fun, they can save your life.

That is, if you're ever attacked by a man wielding a bow and arrow.

An unnamed man from Nimbin in New South Wales, Australia, arrived home at 9 AM on Wednesday, March 13. When he pulled into the driveway, he found another man waiting for him in his front lawn.

With a bow and arrow.

The pair apparently knew each other, though it seems unlikely they were on good terms.

When the victim held up his phone to take a picture of the armed trespasser, the bow-wielding man fired his arrow towards him.

In a miraculous stroke of luck, the arrow pierced nothing but phone!

Twitter made countless jokes to memorialize the poor phone who gave up its life to save its owner.

Though the unnamed man's own phone knocked him in the chin, causing "a small laceration that didn't require medical treatment," he was able to walk away from the attack relatively unscathed.

Police responded to the scene and arrested the 39-year-old assailant.

Authorities will be charging the perpetrator with "armed with intent to commit an indictable offense, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and malicious damage."

He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, April 15, 2019.

So the next time your mother tells you to put your phone down for a minute, just remind her that scrolling Twitter and watching cat videos could very well save your life!

Cruz Ripped After Claiming Kamala Harris Is 'Bigoted' For Not Picking Pete Buttigieg As Her Running Mate

Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz was called out after he claimed former Vice President Kamala Harris is "bigoted" after she revealed in her new memoir 107 Days that former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg would've been her first choice for running mate in last year's election if it wasn't for the fact that he's gay.

Harris, who ultimately selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate, wrote that she felt it would be "too big of a risk" for a Black woman to run for president with a gay man at her side. She described Buttigieg as "an ideal partner—if I were a straight white man" and said she and her team concluded that "knowing what was at stake, it was too big of a risk."

TikToker Stunned After Trader Joe's Cashier Hints That She Should Wash Her Reusable Grocery Bags

A fairly easy rule of thumb when it comes to cleaning is, if you've used it, it will need to be cleaned.

This sounds overwhelming on the surface, but there are some items, like window blinds and bicycle seats, that don't need to be cleaned every single time we've used them, so the chores balance out over time.
