The comedian shared his gratitude for his supporters in an Instagram video after appearing with his 'A Different World' castmates for a virtual reunion.

Sinbad was overwhelmed by the support he received after making his first public appearance since suffering a stroke in 2020, and he took to Instagram to share his gratitude.

The comedian appeared alongside his castmates from A Different World last month for a virtual reunion hosted by Morehouse College in Atlanta.

In his Instagram video, Sinbad expressed his surprise that so many "kids" even knew who he was.

Watching a video of the event, he gushed:

“Man, that was so cool...It’s wild that the kids even know who I am. That’s beautiful."

He continued, thanking his fans for their outpouring of love and support throughout his recovery over the last three years.

“Thank you to everybody who’s been praying for me and saying good things, and supporting me during this time in my life."
“It means a lot to me.”

The Jingle All the Way actor also acknowledged the messages and emails he receives from fans who are in similar situations to his own, telling them:

“I pray for you and I understand what it’s like. It’s rough.”

He captioned his post:

"Thank you for your prayers, support, and positive thoughts."
"They’ve carried me this far and will see me through to the finish line."
"It really is a different world out here!"
