For those wondering what happened to Seth Rogen after he started posting pictures of pottery on his social media pages, he assured fans he has not, in fact, been kidnapped.

Rogen has been taking pottery classes with his wife since 2017, and was routinely sharing his impressive ceramic creations on the internet.

The Neighbors actor already had an extensive list of credentials, including being a film director, screenwriter, and weed enthusiast.

Now he can add "pottery maker" to his impressive curriculum vitae.

But his recent interest in colorful vases made fans wonder where the real Seth Rogen disappeared to.

One TikToker posted a video sharing his theory of what may have happened to Rogen, and it went viral.

The video showed the TikToker, a comedian also known as @chriscanbefunny on Twitter, nailing a "MISSING" sign—with a picture of Rogen—on a tree and singing:

"Has anyone seen Seth Rogen lately?"
"I've seen a lot of photos of his vases. Haven't seen a recent photo of his face yet. I have a crazy hypothesis."

A dramatization showed a kidnapper plotting his celebrity abduction as the narrator continued:

"Seth was kidnapped by a shady ceramicist who has him tied up, completely incapacitated posting pics on Seth's Twitter so we think he's not dead."
"I'm not saying it's impossible that in addition to comedy Seth can make pottery. I'm just saying can we check on Seth?"

The TikTok clip got the attention of Rogen himself, who shared the viral video on his Twitter page and assured followers he was okay.

"This video is very funny and not at all true! I have not been kidnapped! This is not a kidnapper writing this from Seth's account! I promise!" he tweeted.

Fans got a kick out of the video, but not everyone was convinced the actor posted the tweet.

Some remained skeptical about Rogen's assurance.

Rogen and his wife, writer/actress Lauren Miller, have become quite the pottery enthusiasts. They built a studio in their garage with three pottery wheels—one for each of them in addition to another for a guest.

In a June interview with GQ U.K., Rogen said of his passion for pottery:

"It makes you very present and focused on whatever it is you're doing at any given moment. It's hard to dwell on other things when you're doing pottery."
