Sebastian Gorka Always Carries 2 Guns & a Tourniquet with Him

Former White House advisor Sebastian Gorka was featured in Recoil - a magazine for gun enthusiasts - where he waxed poetic about his love of firearms and joining his friends once a month "for a night of full-auto shooting (Tommy guns, HK MP-5, HK-53, etc.)"

Currently a Fox news contributor, the accused Nazi sympathizer was ousted from Donald Trump's circle as his deputy assistant in August. A White House official refuted Gorka's claims of stepping down when his resignation letter obtained by the Federalist was made public. “[G]iven recent events, it is clear to me that forces that do not support the MAGA promise are ― for now ― ascendant within the White House,” Gorka wrote. “As a result, the best and most effective way I can support you, Mr. President, is from outside the People’s House.”

One particular fact about Gorka in the Recoil interview jolted social media. His "everyday carry" (EDC) - the items one carries on their person to ensure "utility and preparedness," according to the Everday Carry website - included an excessive assortment of weapons.

Whenever he leaves his home, the American military and intelligence analyst carries two pistols: A Glock 29, and a Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm full-size with RDS and compact frame.

He also carries a CRKT Hissatsu tactical knife, and a C-A-T Tourniquet he can "deploy with one hand."

But why would someone require carrying a tourniquet on a daily basis?

Gorka's childhood pastime includes "long-range prone position rifle shooting." He shares memories of traveling to Bisley in the U.K. with his father and shooting "7.62 bolt actions with iron aperture sights at 1,000 yards. I loved the delay between the ignition and the bullet hitting the butts."

He firmly stands by the importance of the Second Amendment in national security. As an example, Gorka mentions September's Sudanese church attack in Tennessee.

A private citizen stopped that one fatality becoming a massacre. Imagine if just one of the state employees at the Christmas party in San Bernardino had been armed. Many of those killed by the husband and wife Jihadist team would likely be alive today.

He told the magazine that stripping Americans of firearms is dangerous. He defended the Second Amendment by explaining that it's not necessarily about combating "rapists and bank robbers. It’s about the people’s last line of defense against a strategic level threat. It’s not about hunting whitetails."

The interview disarmed the Internet, but the mockery immediately ensued.

Gorka may have his share of cumbersome everyday carry items, but there's nothing in his arsenal to protect himself as the target of ridicule.
