Curious seagull gets Twitter squawking over it's hilarious photobomb of a traffic cam.

It looks like flying all day has lost its appeal for one seagull who seems to be doing everything he can to get hired as a traffic reporter.

Sure, in the world of birds show-offs like peacocks may get all the attention, but one London seagull has decided it's his time to shine.

On Monday workers at London's TfL Traffic News spotted a seagull pecking around one of their traffic cams so they decided share a pic of the rather photogenic bird with their followers on Twitter, writing "Happy Monday..."

Sure enough the persistent bird showed up for work on Tuesday, so the TfL team posted another pic with the caption "Guess who's back?!"

By day three the regal looking seagull was starting to gain a following.

This time sharing a clip of the now infamous seagull the team wrote "Due to popular demand, a quick update from our reporter just north of the Blackwall Tunnel....."

As far as audition tapes go we think the bird nailed it and Twitter seemed to agree. Just a day after being posted the short clip gained almost 2 million views and over 50,000 likes on Twitter.

Get this bird a job.

Once word got out it didn't take long for people to start flocking Twitter.

And soon the bird puns started flying across the thread.

Sure he can't talk, and he's always late for meetings but it seems like the job is his if he wants it.

Let's just hope he doesn't decide to fly the coop.
