I had a USB stick once, and I misplaced it. It's never been seen again, likely buried under the waste of papers and other junk sitting on my coffee table that I should probably sort before I get buried under it myself.

That said, it would never cross my mind that my elusive USB would be found in the... um... stool of some animal somewhere.

But guess what? That's exactly what's happened here, because the world is weird and funny as hell, man.

Researchers with The National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA), a Crown Research Institute of New Zealand, say they came across the "unexpected discovery" of a working USB stick while analyzing the scat of leopard seals. The scientists are now trying to locate the USB stick's rightful owner because why not?

Here's some video that was on the drive:

Also: What kind of sorcery is this poop resistant USB stick? I want one. We all want one. (And yes, I doubt most of us would actually drop our USB sticks in a pile of poop––let alone leopard seal poop––on purpose.)

Other people are just as stunned by this development as I am. IT'S MAGIC!

Hello out there! We've found your video!

It's pretty cool, isn't it?

Bless you, New Zealand.

What a time to be alive. And, just because we know you're asking for it, here's a video of leopard seals doing their thing. They're beautiful––and somewhat fearsome.

Disney Slammed For Adding Christian Character To Show After Cutting Trans Storyline

Disney came under fire for cutting a trans storyline and adding an openly Christian character in the new animated Pixar series Win or Lose on Disney+.

The contradictory pivot comes as part of the company's new commitment to significantly alter its diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in response to a cultural shift towards conservatism pushed by Republican President Donald Trump's second White House term.
