George Santos' Comms Director Just Resigned—And She Ripped Him With A Not-So-Subtle Jab

Naysa Woomer let the embattled GOP Rep. have it in her resignation email.

New York Republican Representative George Santos found himself confronted with yet another setback on Wednesday as his communications director tendered her resignation.

Naysa Woomer, in an email reported by Scripps News, officially stepped down from her position and, in a barb directed at Santos, noted that her professional advice had gone unheeded.

She wrote:

“With respect for my colleagues, the people of New York, and most importantly, myself, I am honored to tender my resignation."
“Unfortunately, you never took one point of professional advice given."

The resignation comes as the latest blow to Santos, who has been embroiled in a series of controversies due to his questionable background and alleged fraudulent actions.

Santos was arraigned in court last week and is facing a barrage of serious allegations exposing his alleged fraudulent schemes and dishonesty that allowed him to rise to Congress and enrich himself.

The charges against him include seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of misappropriation of public funds, and two counts of making false statements of material fact to the House of Representatives.

Additionally, Santos has entered into an agreement with public prosecutors in Brazil to avoid prosecution related to the forging of stolen checks. These legal entanglements have only heightened the scrutiny surrounding his actions and integrity.

Many see Woomer's resignation as more evidence that Republicans should expel Santos from the House.

Additionally, hardly anyone was surprised she resigned in the first place given Santos' character.

Woomer, who joined Santos' team in January, brought prior experience in communications roles at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and the Massachusetts GOP.

While she did not provide an immediate comment in response to reporters' requests, her resignation signifies a rupture in the already embattled Santos' inner circle.

The departure of a communications director can have significant implications for a public figure, as it affects their ability to effectively convey their message and manage public perception.

It is about a cartel leader (Gascón) who enlists the help of an attorney (Saldaña) to help her fake her own death by undergoing a gender transition.

GOP Rep. Dragged For His Awkwardly Fawning Reaction To Past Criticism From Trump

Minnesota Republican Representative Tom Emmer, the House Majority Whip, was mocked online after he had only glowing things to say about President-elect Donald Trump despite Trump's negative assessment of him from 2023.

That year, the former president took to Truth Social to deride Emmer as “totally out-of-touch with Republican Voters” and a “Globalist RINO," even getting on the phone with members of Congress to stress he would not support Emmer's bid for the House speakership.
