Salma Hayek recently posted a selfie on Instagram from a tropical locale looking gorgeous as always.

With the wind blowing through her hair, she hash-tagged her post with, #wind and #faire.

Unfortunately, one opinionated Instagram user, "atijfan," decided not to acknowledge the post with positivity.
Instead, the troll assumed Hayek had "too much Botox" and offered unsolicited advice by saying that the injections were "not needed."

The actress said she has not had Botox.

But even if she had, it is not anyone's business to pass judgement on someone who has had a cosmetic procedure. But that did not stop atijfan from being going after the Like a Boss actress.

But instead of submitting to indignation, the 53-year-old gracefully clapped back, with gratitude.

"I don't have Botox, but thank you for the advice because I was thinking maybe it's time."

Her witty rejoinder earned her much praise.

For those wondering about her skin care regimen, she told PEOPLE in a June 2015 interview:

"I had a great mother who gave [beauty advice] to me, which is wash your face before you go to sleep — no matter what."
"She and my grandmother told me, 'You have to do this for yourself. Just think about how much faster you're going to age if you don't.'"

Whether the actress was making a joke or was contemplative, Hayek did open up about her true thoughts on Botox.

Spoiler alert: she is not into it.

She told PEOPLE:

"I don't believe in Botox, especially when [people] do it so young."
"They destroy themselves. They keep telling young girls, 'Do it young, so you never get wrinkles.'"

Hayek—who was 48 at the time of the interview—continued:

"No, your face is going to fall. You'll have to keep getting more and more and more each time. So if you're going to do it, I recommend doing it as late as you can."

Elon Musk Schooled After Comparing Obama-Era Democrats To Far-Right German Party

Billionaire Elon Musk was criritized after he attempted to equate the far-right Alternative for Deutschland (AfD) party to Democrats at the beginning of Barack Obama's presidency, and was swiftly fact-checked—even by X's own AI chatbot.

Afd is known for its opposition to the European Union (EU) and immigration to Germany. The party presented itself as an economic liberal, soft Euroskeptic and conservative movement upon its establishment in 2013 but has since moved further to the right, expanding its policies under successive leaderships to include opposition to immigration, Islam, and the EU.
