Ryan Seacrest Got Tackled To The Ground By An Excited Player On 'Wheel Of Fortune'—And Oops!

The Wheel of Fortune host didn't have time to brace himself after contestant Daniel Thomas won the bonus round and came at him for an enthusiastic bear hug.

Ryan Seacrest was down for the count on Tuesday's episode of Wheel of "Misfortune" and it was all in the spirit of a celebratory moment.

Overly ecstatic Wheel of Fortune contestant Daniel Thomas won the $40,000 grand prize when he managed to solve a bonus round puzzle with seconds to spare.

The surprising victory sent Thomas over to hug Seacrest with enough force to make the host lose his balance and wind up on the slick game show floor.

It was no harm, no foul, and all love.

Here's a clip.

In the game's final moments, the Pittsburgh native was tasked with solving a one-word puzzle in the "Living Things" category.

He was given the letters “R, S, T, L, N, E," starting with "S" and "E" on the board.

Thomas chose the letters “H, G, D, O,” with only the correct guess of "G" appearing as the first letter of the word.

"Do your best," Seacrest encouraged, adding, "Talk it out if you need to. You have ten seconds. Good luck."

With the clock ticking, Thomas appeared stumped but managed to blurt out the correct answer, "G U P P I E S."

"Yes! You got it," said Seacrest. "That's it. You did it!"

The studio audience cheered as Thomas gleefully jumped up and down. He then bounced over to Seacrest for the celebratory embrace and we all know things went south after that.

As Thomas released Seacrest and doubled over in excitement, the momentum caused the host to lose his footing and land on his bum.

"Oh my gosh, are you okay?" asked the shocked contest after realizing what happened. "I'm good, I'm good, " Seacrest assured as Thomas helped him back on his feet.

Feeling both guilt and enthusiasm, Thomas cupped his mouth with both hands and was instructed by Seacrest, who was laughing, to "Get over there!" to the center of the stage so he could officially reveal the $40,000 grand prize envelope.

Thomas was joined on stage by his sister, boyfriend, and his "wingman" father to exchange hugs. He then walked back towards Seacrest, who hilariously backed off and latched onto the wheel table to avoid another tackle.

Seacrest dropped the ruse of apprehension and happily slid back over to Thomas for another hug while announcing the contestant's total winnings of $71, 950.

“How did you do that in the last second?” Seacrest asked, to which Thomas joked:

“Push you over or solve the puzzle."

He added, "I don't know. I was looking at the letterboard and I saw the letter 'P' and it just popped into my head."

"You did great. Congratulations," Seacrest cheered.

Thomas apologized for the mishap, which prompted the host to reply, "No, don't worry. I LOVED it!"

We all did, too.

Congratulations, Daniel!

Trump's Truth Social Platform Has A New AI Tool—And Trump's Not Gonna Like What It Has To Say

President Donald Trump regularly uses his social media platform Truth Social to attack his opponents and lie profusely, but the site's new "Truth Search AI" tool is unlikely to win his favor because it actually—get this—tells the truth about him and his policies.

A test conducted by the center-right news and commentary site The Bulwark found that the tool, which Truth Social debuted shortly after Trump signed an executive order to counter the use of “Woke AI” in the federal government, actually tells the truth about everything from his widely unpopular tariffs to the 2020 election results.

Trump Just Bragged That Everything In The Oval Office Is 'Real Gold'—And Even Laura Ingraham Isn't Buying It

President Donald Trump received a dubious reaction from Fox News personality Laura Ingraham after he touted the Oval Office's gold decor as "real gold" while giving her a tour.

The Oval Office has been significantly revamped since Trump took office in January—it features, among other things, fireplace adorned with gold cherubs and medallions, surrounded by portraits of American statesmen in ornate gold frames and shelves filled with gilded figurines, urns, and freshly installed Rococo mirrors.

Sydney Sweeney Speaks Out After 'Christy' Biopic Has One Of Worst Box Office Openings Of All Time

Sydney Sweeney can land a punch, but maybe not at the box office. Her latest film, Christy, a biopic about trailblazing boxer Christy Martin, landed a hard blow but barely connected with the audience, opening to a paltry $1.3 million.

That’s not just a loss; it’s a technical knockout in the “worst wide release openings ever” category, according to Box Office Mojo. For films debuting in over 2,000 theaters, Christy ranks at No. 12 overall and No. 9 when excluding rereleases.
