Photo Of Ryan Reynolds Looking Sad Next To Taylor Swift Prompts Epic Joke From Rob McElhenney

McElhenney couldn't help but crack a joke at his pal Reynolds' expense after he was spotted next to Swift at the latest Kansas City Chiefs game looking less than enthused.

Ryan Reynolds' fellow actor friend and Wrexham business partner Rob McElhenney roasted him hard after a viral photo showed the Deadpool actor looking glum while in the presence of music star Taylor Swift.

Swift's attendance at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday night was much publicized with a slew of photos featuring her and her squad of A-listers in tow, which included the likes of Hugh Jackman, Sophie Turner, Reynolds, and his wife, Blake Lively.

But one photo that caught the attention of McElhenney was an interesting juxtaposition featuring an enthusiastic Swift and Lively standing next to each other and cheering at the players on the field while Reynolds stood with a stoic expression on his face.

McElhenney, who is featured with Reynolds in the FX docuseries Welcome to Wrexham after they jointly purchased the Welsh football team Wrexham on September 23, 2020, wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

"TMW [the moment when] you realize she meant 'American' football."

Although Reynolds was likely invested in the game with a more controlled enthusiasm, McElhenney's wisecrack suggested Reynolds was confused and disappointed to learn he was actually watching an NFL game instead of U.K. football.

For non-sports fans: what is called football by the majority of the world, including in the U.K., is soccer in the U.S. and Canada.

Social media users got a kick out of the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star's dig at Reynolds.

McElhenney and Reynolds' investment in Wrexham and ensuing antics are covered in the docuseries Welcome to Wrexham, which airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on FX and is available for streaming on Hulu.

Sunday marked the second time in the past week Swift attended a game to cheer on Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, whom she is rumored to be dating.

A photo of the "Lavender Haze" superstar from a previous game at the Chiefs' home venue at Arrowhead Stadium on September 24 caused quite a media stir as it featured Swift sitting in a private suite next to Kelce's mother, Donna.

And following rumors that Swift would attend the Week 4 matchup between the Chiefs and the New York Jets this past weekend, ticket sales ahead of the game sparked a 18.5% increase in ticket prices, according to USA TODAY Sports by way of TicketSmarter.

Trump Brags That He Got 'Highest Mark' Possible On Cognitive Test—And Here We Go Again

President Donald Trump was widely mocked after telling reporters that he's taken several cognitive tests because they're "not too tough for me to take," issuing his remarks in tandem with the release of his physical exam results.

Trump is “fully fit” for the presidency, according to a memo from the White House physician released Sunday after his annual physical. Among the cited evidence of his top-tier health? His “frequent victories” in golf tournaments. (Yes, really.)

Trump Demands FCC Revoke CBS's Broadcasting License In Unhinged Rant About '60 Minutes'

President Donald Trump was called out after sharing his displeasure on Truth Social over the news program 60 Minutes and directing Brendan Carr, the chair of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), to revoke CBS's broadcasting license.

Trump’s remarks came after 60 Minutes aired segments on Ukraine and Greenland, both of which the president claimed portrayed him negatively. While the exact trigger for his anger remains unclear, both segments included foreign leaders criticizing Trump.
