The 'Deadpool & Wolverine' star told Whoopi Goldberg that it was his mom's 'dream' to watch a taping of the show—so he decided to grant her wish in adorable fashion.

We didn't think it was possible, but Ryan Reynolds just managed to turn us into even bigger piles of mush over yet another public display of affection.

Between his outspoken love for his wife Blake Lively, his three daughters and Hugh Jackman, we just didn't imagine our hearts had the capacity for further swooning... yet here we are.

The actor appeared on The Viewon Monday, and what he was doing there had everyone sighing a collective, "Awwwwww."

Oh, you thought he was a guest on the show?

Yeah, host Whoopi Goldberg was confused, too.

As it turns out, the Deadpool star was fulfilling his mother's "dream" to attend a taping of The View.

Goldberg expressed her confusion to her fellow cohosts, wondering why on earth Reynolds was sitting in the audience.

"This isn't, like, a thing that happens often..."
"What are you... what... how come?"

The Wrexham co-owner began his response by acknowledging that "this is way less stressful than up there," pointing to the host desk.

He continued:

"My mom is here visiting her grandkids, and yesterday, she said it's her dream to go to 'The View."'
"I made a call, I told them that, you know, 'I'm Blake's husband — I'd love to come to The View.'"
"'Does that get us a little farther?' And here we are."

Reynolds also said he didn't have much of a choice, joking of his mother:

"You don't know what she's capable of. Unspeakable violence."

His mother then explained that she's a huge fan of the show and watches The View every day. She even told the hosts the current episode was recording at her house.

People on social media all agreed that the Free Guy's outing with his mom was just too adorable.

And they, too, were floored that they could possibly love him even more.

Espaillat, a Dominican-American, has been transparent about his family’s experience overstaying their visas when he was a child, before eventually obtaining green cards and his own path to citizenship. Now a U.S. citizen for decades and chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, Espaillat has proudly described himself as a “former undocumented immigrant turned progressive Congressman.”
