The actor shared a statement on social media imploring fans and the paparazzi to stop leaking photos from the set of 'Deadpool 3' so as not to 'spoil' the movie for others.

Actor Ryan Reynolds has taken social media to implore avid fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to please stop sharing spoilers from the set of Deadpool 3.

After a flood of fan and paparazzi photos from the set hit the internet, Reynolds posted to his Instagram Stories a message that begged fans to leave something to the imagination.

In the post, Reynolds called surprises "part of the magic of theatrical movies" and urged fans and paparazzi not to "spoil surprises."

In his post, Reynolds wrote:

“Surprises are part of the magic of theatrical movies. It’s important for us to shoot the new DEADPOOL film in real, natural environments, using practical effects as opposed to making the movie indoors and digitally."
"Telephoto lenses continue to spoil surprises and create a difficult situation for everyone."

He went on to say:

"Here's hoping some of the websites and social channels hold back showing images before they’re ready."
"The film is built for audience joy – and our highest hope is to preserve as much of that magic as possible for the finished film and the big screen."

Reynolds acknowledged that spoilers are motivated by fans' sincere love for the movies, characters and stars.

"Part of the reason people post spoilers is because they’re excited."
"I realize these aren’t real world issues and it’s firmly in the ‘good problems’ bucket. I love making this movie.”

On social media, many fans firmly agreed with Reynolds' post.

Deadpool 3 is one of the most hotly anticipated movies of the upcoming summer 2024 blockbuster season, along with Dune sequel Dune: Part Two and the Mad Max: Fury Road follow-up Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

It is slated to premier July 26, 2024.

White House Slammed After Replacing Obama Portrait With Painting Of Trump's Assassination Attempt

The White House is facing heavy criticism after it posted a video on X showing off a new painting of President Donald Trump's assassination attempt last summer—that is now hanging where an official portrait of former President Barack Obama was once displayed.

The portrait of Obama, unveiled in 2022 during former President Joe Biden’s administration, remains on display in the White House but has been relocated. Originally hung near the staircase to the presidential residence on the State Floor, it has been moved to the opposite wall—where a portrait of former President George W. Bush once hung.

Silicon Valley Crosswalks Hacked To Play Brutal Fake Messages From Musk And Zuckerberg

Pedestrian crosswalks across Silicon Valley in northern California are, funnily enough, mocking billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg after hackers programmed them to play fake messages.

The unexpected messages were heard in Palo Alto, Redwood City, and Menlo Park—home to Zuckerberg's expansive Meta headquarters. In one instance, a Musk impersonator offered passing pedestrians a Tesla Cybertruck in exchange for friendship.
